Conservative Utilization of Current Technologies: What this means, is that there are very little bells and whistles in Artisan`s Estimating.

Color Coding: The estimating modules are color coded, with various color changes to the fonts.

Modular Format Expandability: Although there are plenty of Estimating and Assembly modules there is always room for more. There are no plans for an expanded version of AE at this time.

User Friendliness: One of the axioms in the IT field: "Garbage in = Garbage out." This is far from the truth with AE. This program can take the garbage and plenty of it, I swear.

In-cell Commentary: The in cell commentary is one of the benefits that come with the parent software. You can leave yourself notes everywhere in the document.

Assembly Size up: These Assembly modules are like nesting eggs, you can insert assemblies into assemblies, and insert those assemblies into the modules.

User Defined Updateable Data: This feature is probably the most important of all the features combined, Instead of relying on databases that never quite tell it to you the way you want to hear it, you can manage your own data source. Over time, you will have developed your own database, with only the data that is needed for your individual project niche. If you are a registered user, you will have access to an ever growing database of material nomenclatures, specifications, images and Generic Component ID's.

Computation Override Capability: Some of the cells in the estimating modules provide the user to modify their values to more closely represent your gut feelings.
